Artist's Note

I created this piece by layering soft oil pastels to bring a Colorado sunset over the lake to life. As the scene came together, I was reminded of how breathtaking the landscape can be in those final moments of daylight.

My hope is that Colors of Colorado brings you a sense of peace and wonder, and reminds you to appreciate those beautiful moments when one day comes to a close and another is just beginning.
