Artist's Note

I created this artwork during a live while sharing an important reminder with everyone watching: don’t throw your art away. Afterward, I turned the process into a three-part video tutorial. Not every piece begins the way we imagine, but each layer can teach us something and lead us somewhere unexpected.

Sometimes the artwork you are ready to give up on becomes one of your favorites.

My hope is that this piece encourages you to keep creating, because sometimes the most beautiful art comes from simply refusing to give up.
